Nearly Wild gains support from Arwain to look into Nature Based Businesses in Powys

Part of the work of Nearly Wild is focused on nature-based businesses and strengthening the nature-based economy.

We in late 2019 we received funding from Arwain (the LEADER programme in Powys, funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) to enable us to run a pilot project – Strengthening the nature-based economy in Powys.

This work will continue, despite Covid 19, since in involves a lot of mapping what exitss, interviews with nature based businesses and those supporting or buying their services. It aims to complete in early 2021.
